Common documents for a B1 e-VOA

  • Passport biodata page with the required remaining validity.
  • Recent colour passport-style photograph.
  • Return or onward travel information, where required.
  • Payment method accepted by the official portal.

The official B1 page lists a passport valid for at least six months, a recent photo and a return/onward ticket among its electronic application documents.

Additional information for C1 Tourist Visa

The official C1 instructions require a sponsor and show a broader set of supporting documents, including sponsor forms, a travel document, evidence of living expenses and a recent photo. The portal or sponsor may request further information for your case.

Business and longer-stay applications

Business visit categories may require a sponsor, invitation or correspondence describing the planned activities. Limited-stay applications can have additional evidence requirements such as employment or financial documents. Do not upload sensitive files to an unverified intermediary.

Before you upload anything

  1. Check the live official checklist for the exact visa category.
  2. Ensure every name, passport number and date matches the travel document.
  3. Use clear, uncropped scans in the requested file format.
  4. Do not send passport scans through unsecured chat or email unless you have verified the recipient and handling practices.
