COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE
How your country of residence affects the application
Your residence country is where you currently live. It is useful application context, but it does not replace the nationality shown on the passport you will use to enter Indonesia.
What residence can affect
- Which Indonesian embassy or consulate may answer a consular question, when one is needed.
- Whether a mission asks for proof that you legally live in that country.
- Your current contact details, departure point and return arrangements.
What residence does not change
A residence permit in another country does not turn you into a passport holder of that country. For example, a Canadian passport holder living in France must still check the route available to Canadian passport holders.
Choose the passport you will travel with for nationality eligibility, then give your real current country of residence in the application. If your circumstances are unusual, our team can review them before any payment is requested.

Guides by country of residence
Choose where you live to see local travel notes and starting prices. Indonesia visa eligibility still depends on your travel passport.
Confirm the current requirement
The lists are a starting point, not visa approval. Confirm your exact passport, purpose and stay in the official system before you travel.
