Which visa does your passport need?
This guide shows SGD starting references and selected passport examples. The route follows the passport used to travel, not place of birth or residence. Prices are fixed in SGD on this page and do not change with the header currency selector; the written quote confirms the current route and exact total.

Passport examples are illustrative route comparisons, not a ranking of foreign passport holders in this country. SingStat distinguishes citizens and permanent residents from non-residents; its 2020 birthplace data are not current passport-nationality counts. This page does not rank foreign passports from the non-resident total. Actual eligibility follows the passport you will travel on. Check the published passport lists.
Starting references are approximate conversions from the published VBS tiers: 1 USD = 1.28178 SGD (checked 29 October 2026). The B1/C1 reference includes the listed visa fee and assistance tier; third-party payment charges, extensions and Bali’s tourist levy may be separate. We confirm the current scope, currency and payable total in writing before you pay.
Returning to Singapore
Singapore citizens should travel on a valid Singapore passport. Permanent residents should check that their Re-Entry Permit is valid for travel abroad and that their travel document is current; other residents should confirm their own pass and return requirements.
Official Singapore return guidance ↗Before you travel from Singapore to Bali
Singapore ordinary passports are included in Indonesia’s visa-free list for eligible visits up to 30 days, with no extension under that facility. If you are a Singapore PR using another passport, Indonesia assesses that passport, while Singapore’s REP rules apply separately to your PR status.
Check Indonesia’s official e-Visa portal for current passport validity, onward-ticket and document requirements. Immigration makes the final entry decision.
Official Indonesia e-Visa portal ↗Bali visa prices from Singapore
Published starting references are S$51 for B1 and S$128 for C1 in SGD. Visa-free passports do not pay an Indonesian visa fee for the eligible short visit. Your final total depends on the route, current government charge and supporting work; we send it in writing before payment.
The local-currency figures are fixed to this residence guide, not the header display setting. Exchange rates and official fees can change, so treat them as starting estimates.

Bali visa questions from Singapore residents
Passport eligibility, local return documents, SGD starting references and our review process.
Do Singapore passport holders need a visa for Bali?
Singapore ordinary passports are on Indonesia’s current visa-free visit list for eligible visits up to 30 days. This facility is not extendable.
Does Singapore permanent residence make my passport visa-free?
No. Indonesia checks your travel passport. Singapore PR status and its Re-Entry Permit are separate matters for returning to Singapore.
Can I extend the visa-free visit in Indonesia?
No. The visa-free visit facility is not extendable. Check another suitable visa route before departure if you need a longer stay.
How much does a Bali visa cost in Singapore dollars?
Singapore passport holders do not pay an Indonesian visa fee for an eligible visa-free visit. Other passports or longer-stay routes may have different government and service charges; we confirm those in writing before payment.
What should Singapore PRs check before travelling?
Check that your Re-Entry Permit remains valid for travel abroad and that the passport you will use is current. Confirm your personal status with Singapore ICA if unsure.
Do I pay when I submit a request?
No. We check the route and documents first. If we can proceed, we email a written quote and secure payment link.
