The census figures are passport-held counts for England and Wales only, not the whole UK. The 2021 Census directly recorded passport held in England and Wales: Polish (760,000), Romanian (550,000) and Indian (369,000) were large non-UK passport groups. This is not UK-wide, is a 2021 snapshot, and its multiple-passport classification has a priority rule. It is useful context, not travel demand. Starting references are approximate conversions from the published VBS tiers: 1 USD = 0.751538 GBP (checked 29 October 2026). The B1/C1 reference includes the listed visa fee and assistance tier; third-party payment charges, extensions and Bali’s tourist levy may be separate. We confirm the current scope, currency and payable total in writing before you pay.
A visa, work permit or residence card issued by United Kingdom does not give you the Indonesian visa access of a British passport holder. Indonesia checks the passport you present for the application and at entry.
If you hold more than one passport, tell us which one you will use. Keep that passport consistent for the application, airline check-in and entry to Indonesia.
British citizens should travel on a valid British passport. UK residents using another passport should check that their UKVI account and eVisa are linked to their current travel document before leaving and returning to the UK.
